Creating Timeless Wedding Photos with a Modern Twist

by Emily Morton

As a wedding photographer, I know how important it is to create beautiful, timeless photos that you, as the happy couple will cherish for a lifetime. It's integral to my duty on your wedding day to ensure that your photos are timeless and capture your unique personalities and style. When booking a photographer, there are a few key things to look for to ensure that you get the timeless, modern photos that you desire.

First, consider whether your photographer uses natural light to their advantage. Natural light can add a soft, romantic quality to your photos and help to highlight your surroundings. A photographer who experiments with different lighting techniques and compositions will know how to add some extra spice and visual interest to your photos.

Next, look for a photographer who is willing to experiment with different angles and shots. Traditional wedding photography often focuses on full-length shots, but a photographer who is willing to get creative with their angles and close-up shots can create unique and memorable photos.

In addition, while traditional posed photos are classic and will never go out of style, having candid shots of you and your new spouse as well as your guests can add a modern and spontaneous feel to your album. I guarantee you won't be disappointed with having documented authentic, emotional moments of everyone you've invited to join you in celebration of the love you share with your partner.

Finally, consider a photographer who makes you feel comfortable to be yourself during your photo session. The best wedding photos are those that capture your true essence and are a true documentation of you and your partner. Make sure you and your photographer vibe well together and I can guarantee you'll have the wedding photos of your dreams.

By keeping these factors in mind, you can be sure to find a photographer who will create timeless wedding photos with a modern twist that you will cherish for years to come.
