We had the most wonderful experience with Emily as our elopement photographer and truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to capture such a meaningful moment. From the very beginning, she made both my partner and me feel completely comfortable, safe, and at ease. Something that meant so much to us, especially as an LGBTQ+ couple. Her familiarity with City Hall made the entire courthouse ceremony feel seamless and stress-free, and she guided us effortlessly through the process while still allowing the day to feel natural and personal. She was incredibly thoughtful in making sure every guest present was included and captured beautifully, despite the quick and intimate nature of our ceremony.
To top it all off, she delivered sneak peek edits within just a few days, and they were absolutely stunning—elegant, emotional, and perfectly reflective of the day. The quality and care she put into her work truly exceeded our expectations. Emily photographed my husband and I's wedding day in Philadelphia in May 2026. From first outreach over a year prior to our wedding, we had so much confidence we were in great hands. She is warm, kind, communicative, and produces beautiful work! As two people who weren't super comfortable being photographed, she made it so easy and fun. On the day, we had to pivot some photos because of heavy rain, and her calm, easy-going vibe made us so sure that they would still turn out beautiful, despite not being part of the plan. Wow! Emily and her team were an incredible find during our wedding process. Her attention to detail, warm and romantic editing style, and knack for capturing the little and big moments and feelings as they unfolded throughout the day were unmatched! This was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photography team. As we review the sneak peaks from our day, we can literally feel the joy and tenderness, hear the cheers and applause, and relive all the little moments of our wedding celebration.
Having a multicultural ceremony with elements of African American and South Indian culture, our wedding was jam-packed with many sentimental and symbolic moments. For that reason, it was really important to have someone who paid close attention to the various elements of the day. It felt wonderful to put our full trust into Emily and her team to capture everything that was happening and for it to all move with ease. Rather than photography being another "to-do" to worry about on our wedding day, Emily, Allison, and the team documented the moments as they came and I couldn't have asked for more in a wedding photographer!
We cannot wait to see our final gallery because these sneak peaks made us cry. What beautiful, warm colors that really captured our joy and mushy moments-- chef's kiss!
My brothers are already wanting to lock Emily in; they don't have a wedding date and are not yet engaged, but we know who we'll ask to do the photography!
What can I say about Emily?! First and foremost, she was a pleasure and a joy to work with at our engagement shoot and our wedding day. Chill, kind vibes all around. She manages to have a warm, natural, "vintage" editing aesthetic while still delivering crystal clear modern-quality photos. Expert coloring. Excellent and professional communication and stunning galleries. Her signature documentary style provided the sweetest and most fun candids in addition to classic posed portraits.
